5 Months Old!!

Weight: about 16 pounds (not an official weight, just what we calculated with our scale)

Height 28in.

Favorites: Jack loves ANYTHING that you sing to him. We have an Elmo lover. Seriously if I pull Elmo up on my phone he gets so excited. He loves to chew on everything!!! He's really starting to love his Sophie the Giraffe. He loves to feel faces. If you hold him he will smile, gurgle, and touch your face. It's so sweet. He also loves throwing his toys on the floor....it's a fun game for daddy ;).

Size: Clothes- 3-6 month shirts and onesies, 3-6 month pants. Diapers-Size 2

Milestones: Jack is officially and side/belly sleeper. He is rolling over like cRaZy! He is trying sooo hard to sit up but just doesn't quite have the balance to do it on his own. He will lay on the bed, hold my hands and pull himself up to a sitting position and then a standing position!! He loves to stand up!!! Of course with me holding him. Boy is that tiring...for mommy!!! But boy his he happy when he's standing!! He's still eating about 6oz or 5oz with cereal. No other solid food yet. These teeth have to be coming in soon!!

Happiest Time: He's super happy in the morning and during bath time. He is happy most of the time. He loves playing when we get home from school.

4 Months Old!!

Weight: 14 pounds 4 ounces

Favorites: Jack LOVES the song "Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun." He really loves when we change the words to "Mr. Jack, Jack, Mr.Mr. Jack." He still loves the Baby Einstein radio/music player, but his favorite now is his Green O-Ball. His favorite toys are also his hands. He loves to chew on them!

Size: Clothes- 3-6 month shirts and onesies, 3-6 month pants. Diapers-Size 1

Milestones: Jack has such a personality now. He's so happy. He looks around at everything. He gets distracted with every little thing. He laughs all the time, especially during bath time. He loves to play in his Exersaucer and sit in the Bumbo seat.  He's eating 6oz of formula. He's not quite ready for food yet. He's in the 30th percentile for weight and 80th for height. So he's long and lean.  He had his first ear infection and croup on Easter weekend :( He did not sleep well with that so he's just now starting to sleep better.  He found his thumb! He likes to suck his thumb, but doesn't use it to soothe himself. He still loves his WubbaNub pacifier and that soothes him. I still think we may have a tooth soon!

Happiest Time: He really is happy most of the day. He's still really happy in the morning and when he sees me in the afternoon ;). He is still SOOO happy during bath time!!

Spring Break is over...

Means a sad mommy here!! After a week of snuggles it is going to be hard going back to work tomorrow. I wish I could say we went on a great vacation for Spring Break or did lots of fun activities, but we didn't. Since we had a sick little boy we just took it easy. We ran a few errands here and there, spent my gift card from my class at Old Navy :), and had some quality family time. Back to work tomorrow. We ended our Spring Break with a few pictures, rearranged my living room, and watched Uncle Reedy hit a HOMERUN to win his game today!!!

Happy Easter!

We started our Easter weekend off with a trip to the doctor. Jack's first sick visit. Jack has Croup and an Ear Infection :( bummer! His 1st Easter and his has his first sickness. Poor guy. Despite all of the coughing, runny nose, and congestion he is still just as happy as can be. We had a quiet Easter at home with just the 4 of us (including Miss Mollie). We were sad that we didn't get to spend Easter with our families, but we still had a nice breakfast, a relaxing afternoon and a pork tenderloin dinner. Here are a few pictures of our Easter. I was sooooo excited about Jack's Easter basket. The Easter Bunny kept it simple this year.

Fish Book
